Gena Lentz is a certified professional coach who empowers clients to develop their unique potential based on their strengths, values and inner wisdom. Her coaching practice is guided by compassion, evidence-based methods and insights from neuroscience. Gena holds a certificate in Professional Coaching from New York University as well as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation.
Gena brings three decades of experience in economic development to her coaching practice, spanning roles in global business, leadership, and strategic growth initiatives. Her professional journey has evolved through several stages: from law to economic development, from the public to the private sector, and ultimately to her current role as a coach.
Growth has remained a guiding principle throughout her career—not only her own growth but also the growth of the teams and communities she has served. With a global and inclusive mindset shaped by living overseas and partnering with clients worldwide, Gena brings a truly broad perspective to her coaching.
Gena holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, where she earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. As a member of the International Coaching Federation, she maintains the highest standards for her professional coaching practice.
Gena has learned to prioritize her own well-being through a balanced lifestyle that includes running, walking and kayaking as well as other wellness and spiritual practices. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she looks forward to more opportunities to travel – both in the U.S. and internationally.
